lmi still lists tortoise pickguard material in several colours, but they don't say whether it is celluloid or not.

Have you tried Walter Lipton at Euphonon? He has tortoise pickguard material listed. It says plastic, but it might be celluloid.

You guys better stock up on celluloid. I just got off
the phone with Stew-Mac, and they informed me that
celluloid is now considered a hazardous material,
and anybody who ships must have a special licence.
Later this year, I shall be buying some from Stew-
Mac directly.

John,
I've got a sheet 36" by 36" of pickguard material, the prewar Martin looking material. I picked it up about 6 years ago from Henry Stocek. Let me know if you need any.

I need some for inlay. I called stewmac and it is only on pick up status. It is discontinued for the hazmat stuff.
Let me know what you need for it and what you can spare.
john.
   Thanks again

Hey steve,

I heard that Henry is not doing this stuff anymore.

I tried his website and google didn't seem to find much info on him anymore.

Thanks for the link, Tom. One note, use IE to view as the site doesn't work right in Firefox.
